In fact, sweet Susan is calm, gentle and adores people. She loves her scratching post and has the ideal personality to live with kids and other cats. She will be happy in a house or apartment, as long as her owner provides plenty of belly rubs. Yes, Susan lives for a good belly rub! Most photos show her lying on her side hoping for a belly scratch. When she hears the TV turned on, she jumps on the couch next to her foster, waiting to be stroked. Pet her, and her happy, rumbling purrs and soft chirps fill the room.
Some cats are mysterious and aloof. Not Susan. If she wants her foster to stroke her soft fur, she extends her right front paw and gently pokes his arm or leg. At night she enjoys sleeping in her foster's bed, cuddled next to his right leg.
But don't think Susan is needy. Although she loves attention, she is still a cat and can be independent. Plus, Susan doesn't give her love at the drop of a hat. It takes a day or two for her to adjust to someone new. Then she falls for them and shows them all of her affection.
