Meet Sophie, a beautiful 1-year-old Shepherd mix who was found as a stray in Miami before making her way to Big Dog Ranch in June 2025 to find her forever home. Sophie may have had a rough start, but her bright spirit and loving heart shine through in everything she does! Sophie is a lively, happy girl with a high energy level—she’s always ready for fun! Whether it’s going for walks—she’s great on a leash, playing with other dogs, splashing in the water, or chasing her favorite toys, she’s up for any adventure. She already knows her basic commands and is eager to please, especially when she gets to play and interact with her people. But Sophie isn’t just about playtime—she’s also a big cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up after a day of fun. Her joyful energy is perfectly matched by her affectionate nature, making her a wonderful companion for an active family looking for a dog who will bring both excitement and love into their lives. If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
