🌟 KANE — THE GOLDEN STANDARD OF PUPPIES 🌟
Now 6 months old, Kane came to us from a home with several very small children and a complicated pregnancy with multiple hospitalizations — a place full of love, but also chaos – Simply put, too much for his tender young soul. 💔
Then Kane came to us. And something beautiful happened…He blossomed. 🌾
Kane has been thriving on one of our board members “rescue farm”— running through the fields with a large pack of dogs of all sizes, ages and abilities. He is truly learning what it means to be a dog, and finally understanding what it feels like to be a treasured member of a family and a pack. 🌾🐾
🐾His foster family says he is “the best puppy we’ve ever fostered.”
That’s how special he is. 💛
Kane is everything you could dream of in a golden puppy:

Because of his past, we have determined Kane will thrive in a home with these requirements in place:

✔️ A securely fenced yard (5–6 ft) for zoomies and golden grins

Kane has been seen by our wonderful local veterinarian, is strong, healthy and is getting on track with his vaccinations currently - his family fell behind in all their own turmoil.🥺🥺

Kane will be current on vaccinations appropriate for his age and be adopted to a home with a securely fenced yard for safe playtime, and a contract to ensure neuter by 10 months of age.

1.
Submit Application

Please submit an application to express your interest in a dog. We will do our best to respond quickly, please be patient

2.
Home Check

This will be a virtual review of your home and time to check references.

3.
Interview

You will have a phone interview to discuss your questions, information about the dog, and best dog for your exact situation.

4.
Approve Application

This will occur after the above steps and positive phone interview.

5.
Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will be scheduled. If everything is as expected, we plan on the dog going home with you from this meeting.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Must be completed at or prior to the meet and greet to result in an adoption.

7.
Pay Fee

Then take pet home and live happily ever after together!

More about this rescue

We are a committed group of dog lovers who have decades of experience in dog rescue, volunteering at animal shelters and owning rescue dogs. Most recently, our two founders, have been working with rescuing dogs from Mexico and the Asian dog meat trade as well as California kill shelters, Midwest puppy mill breeder releases and rehoming owner surrendered dogs in Washington and Oregon.

Deciding that we are able to rescue more by combining forces, Pacific Rim Rescue was formed. Our mission is to rescue dogs from devastating conditions from countries of the Pacific Rim.

We are committed to providing foster homes, veterinary and behavioral training for these dogs, so that they may live happy and fulfilling lives in their forever homes.
