Hello there! My name is Shadow. I just finished nursing my litter of kittens and am on my way to getting spayed and up to date on vaccinations and starting my life as my own cat-woman! I've been living on the streets having litters and struggling in a tough life but now I will get every chance in the world at having a family of my own, being a well loved house cat, and giving my family every they give to me: patience, love, hope, a place to live and thrive. Additional adoption info

We ask for home photos from adopters coming from a distance (home visit). We adopt locally and to out of staters. We aren't currently part of a transport system so applicants need to come to Desert Haven Animal Rescue (Truth or Consequences, NM) to meet their pet. We can schedule meetings flexibly, any day of the week, including weekends.

Drop-in hours are Tuesdays from 9-4 at Desert Haven Animal Rescue located at 15576 Highway 187 Williamsburg NM. Appointments can be made any day of the week. Call/text us at 575-740-0643 to schedule an appointment. We are located 2.5 miles south of Williamsburg NM on highway 187. Our pets will be at Jones Street Secondhand at 303 Jones St in TorC, NM from Noon-1:30 every Saturday.
