Meet Benito: Loyal, Attentive, Independent!
Benito is a wonderful, balanced companion who transitions from playful short bursts to calm, contented lounging. He’s an excellent car rider with great house manners who walks nicely on a leash, enjoys jogs, ready to be part of the family in your loving home.
What Makes Benito Special?
* House Manners: House-trained, knows his belongings, and asks before getting on furniture.
* Temperament: Friendly with new people (may be bouncy when excited). Polite around food; prefers wet food/broth on dry food.
* Activity/Play: Enjoys short games of fetch and loves the water (but not baths); happy to relax afterward. Enjoys jogs.
* Intelligence & Training: Alert and attentive; knows commands: sit, down, and paw. Responds well to gentle correction.
* Affection: Independent but affectionate on his terms; loves scratches (especially under his collar) and giving kisses. He does not constantly seek attention.
* Best Fit: Does best with submissive female dogs or as an only dog.
* Home Requirements: Needs a home that is not an apartment or townhome. He will settle in a crate after a short time.
