Dolly is one smart cookie — she already knows “sit”, “paw”, “down”, “no”, and “wait” like a pro! She’s fully housetrained, crate trained (goes right in without a peep!), and settles down beautifully once she’s comfy. Playtime is her love language — she’s a big fan of tug-of-war, Nyla bones, and romping around with her dog friends.
She’s wonderfully social and loves meeting new people, greeting everyone she meets with her happy, wiggly energy. Dolly gets along great with other dogs, especially those who can handle her rough-and-tumble play style. (She’s got big puppy energy!). Cats, however, are not on her friend list — she’s decided she prefers canine company and human cuddles.
With her loving, goofy personality and eager-to-please attitude, Dolly is ready to be the heart of your home. She’s the kind of dog who will keep you laughing one moment and melt into your arms for cuddles the next.

More about this shelter
At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
