My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We found Saki wandering in Houston January 20, 2025, the night before it snowed. We took her in and subsequently had her vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and took her through slow kill heartworm treatment which finished mid-June. Our vet estimated Saki to be approximately 2 years old at the time.

Saki displays typical heeler qualities and would not be good with cats, but she is good with our personal pugs. She was covered in scabs and scars when we found her and needs a home where she is an only or with submissive dogs. She is not an alpha, but does not like other dogs growling at her. We work with pug rescue and bring in fosters frequently, so Saki needs a place with less turnover and a lesser chance of a dog being aggressive towards her. She is completely housebroken and asks to go out. She is extremely food motivated (but not aggressive or a resource guarder) and we are working on basic training using treats, which is going very well.

Please give this girl a chance.
