This 7-month-old Shepherd Mix is ready to bring the paw wer to your team! Currently heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and soon to be neutered, Boo Boo is gearing up for a lifetime of adventure and cuddles! Whether you`re hiking the trails, biking through the neighborhood, or cheering on your favorite team on a lazy Sunday, this little girl will be your best teammate.
As any rookie player would, Boo Boo’s still working on her game plan—perfecting leash walking, mastering commands, and working on potty training—but trust us, she’s ready to learn and impress! With a heart full of enthusiasm and a tail wag that’ll leave you smiling, Boo Boo is just waiting for the right coach (that`s you!) to show her the ropes.

HSSM is home to over 300 pets on any given day, most of which are looking for new forever homes! Your new best friend could be waiting at HSSM right now. Our beautiful, 41,000 square foot facility is currently open to the public. HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
