My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kimber – a playful, independent adult cat with a big personality and a love for toys and exploration. He’s smart, curious, and thrives in an environment where he can engage his mind and body. While he enjoys the occasional affection on his own terms, Kimber isn’t a lap cat — he values his space and prefers interactions that respect his boundaries.

Kimber can become overstimulated with too much handling or petting, so he’s looking for a cat-savvy adopter who understands feline body language and can offer him a calm, child-free home where he can feel safe and confident. We`re unsure how he would do with other animals, so slow introductions and careful consideration would be important.

As one of our Star Pets, Kimber’s adoption fee is fully waived! If you’re looking for a fun, independent companion with tons of personality, Kimber might be your perfect match.

If you want to visit Kimber please see a staff member at our Sanford Shelter!
