With incredibly heavy hearts, we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our two beloved dogs, Izzy and Opie. Due to a recent medical emergency in our family—my grandfather suffered a stroke and now struggles with severe balance issues—we can no longer give Izzy and Opie the freedom and attention they deserve. They’ve been kept in a separate room for safety, and it’s just not the life they should be living.
Opie, going on 5, has been by Izzy’s side since he was a puppy. He’s a big, goofy boy with a huge heart and an even bigger love for running and playing outside. He needs a yard where he can stretch his legs and be his silly self. He knows his basics—sit and lay down—and is eager to please.
Together, they are a joy. They’re great with kids, cats, and other medium-to-large dogs (they haven’t been around small dogs, but we believe they’d adjust just fine with proper introductions). Their bond is deep and unshakable—they must be adopted together.
