Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Monty first came to PACC after mistakenly being entered as a bunny rabbit in the Pima County Fair. While she did win a blue ribbon for her big bunny ears, it was time for her to find a forever home as a dog.
While in foster care, Monty was quickly house-trained and was non-destructive when left alone. She is the perfect combination of active and calm. She enjoys cuddling on the couch, chewing on toys and playing fetch with her beloved squeaky ball. Dogs on TV caught her attention as well! Outside, she enjoys walks, going to the park and chasing lizards around the yard. She played well with a friend`s 4 year old heeler and loved playing fetch with a 13 year old neighbor kid. Monty also enjoys car rides & pup cups and she does great at bath time.
Monty is a beautiful brindle pittie mix with big bunny ears, four white paws, freckles on her nose, a bushy tail and the most amazing underbite! She turns heads everywhere she goes and everyone says she could be a model. Come down to PACC and meet this cuddle bug!
Here’s what one volunteer at the shelter said:
“Monty is a sweet girl. She is easy to leash and unleash and is a good walker. She also takes treats nicely.”
Monty shared her kennel with another PACC pup and has been social, tolerant and easygoing overall when meeting other dogs in playgroup.
