My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

From Eviction to Enchantment — 12 Cats with Big Names & Bigger Hearts

When their family lost their home, these 12 cats were suddenly left with nowhere to go. All now officially up for adoption—and thanks to some very enthusiastic vet techs at their spay/neuter clinic, they’ve each been given names as unique and memorable as they are!

Meet our bonded pair:

Spork (around 1.5 years old, female, black short-hair)
Not quite a spoon, not quite a fork—Spork is the perfect mix of silly and sweet. Once shy, she’s come a long way and now adores attention from people. She’s also a total cuddlebug with other cats, always snuggling up to her companions for comfort.

Jelly Roll (around 2 years old, male, brown tabby)
If you're into country rock—or just great cats—Jelly Roll is your guy. This big boy is full of love and will seek out your affection like a professional pet-receiver. Social, friendly, and ready for lots of attention, he’s an instant favorite.

Over the time they have been at the rescue we noticed that Spork and Jelly Roll have bonded to each other.  They must be adopted together.  These cats have been through so much in a short time, but they’ve held on to their unique personalities and capacity to love. Could your home be the fresh start they deserve?

We received a grant from PetFinder Foundation to help find their forever home! Their adoption fee has been reduced by $200 (adoption fee for the pair is $300).

Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).

All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion.

Location: Bolton, CT
Adoption Fee: $500 for the pair
