Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello there, I`m Maeve, your soon-to-be feline friend with a touch of Hollywood mystique! Think of me as the shy starlet who`s waiting for her big break in the world of cuddles and companionship. Just like those classic Hollywood ingenues who took time to shine. My unique polydactyl paws and adorably wonky smile are totally my signature look, making me the most charming cat in this shelter`s casting call. Behind my timid exterior is a sweet soul just waiting to be discovered. My dream is to find a patient director - I mean, human - who understands that great connections take time, and who will help me feel safe enough to show my true, loving personality. How did I get here? Transferred from Scotland County Humane Society with my kittens.
**I have tested positive for FeLV (feline leukemia) - please speak with an adoption specialist for more information.**
~My adoption fee is waived.~

More about this rescue
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Wake County is dedicated to creating a more humane community where every adoptable animal has a home. Each year the SPCA rehomes over 3,500 animals through its innovative adoption programs.
The mission of the SPCA is to transform the lives of pets and people through protection, care, education, and adoption.
The SPCA of Wake County is a local, independent, non-profit organization that receives no government funding or tax dollars. We rely almost entirely on private donations to fund our annual operating budget of $3 million. The SPCA of Wake County is not affiliated with, nor do we receive funding from the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
