Spike came in with his sister when their owners had to move and were unable to bring them with. Spike is unsure of humans but is slowly coming around. He likes eating food out of your hand and going for walks. 



 



If you would like to meet any of our pets, they are available for viewing, every single day from noon until 3:30pm. If you have other dogs a meet and greet is required. Calling before a long drive is recommended to confirm availability. The Ripley County Humane Society, Inc. is a not for profit 501(C)3 organization operating a No Kill animal shelter in Ripley County, Indiana. The purpose of the Corporation is to secure the future of needy domesticated animals in Ripley County. This is accomplished by providing suitable care, food, shelter, treatment and placement into a humane environment, educating the public concerning animal welfare; advocating humane treatment of animals and fostering relationships between people and animals. The Ripley County Humane Society is funded solely on donations. The misson of the Ripley County Humane Society is to provide assistance to needy, domesticated animals in Ripley County and to educate the residents of Ripley County regarding animal welfare.
