My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hobie is a beautiful, petite young cat with dense soft fur. She is very timid in new situations and does not trust people easily. She requires time to build confidence & trust.
She LOVES squeeze up snacks like Churus or Delectables. She is beginning to show the playful kitten side of her purrsonality and enjoys interactive wand-type toys.
Homes with multiple animals, small children or an intense energy level are probably not the best fit for Hobie. BUT...if you are willing to be patient and let her continue to blossom and build her confidence slowly, you will be rewarded with a loving companion for life!

We are located at 1740 W. Gordon Street, Valdosta GA 31601. We are right down the road from Ellianos in Remerton. We invite you to come see our cats at our office, Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm. Call 229-247-3266 to confirm.

More about this rescue

The HSVLC is a non-profit organization that only rescues animals based on available foster homes and funding. All of our dogs and some of our cats live in foster homes. Loving families have taken them in and are caring for them until they find their furrever home. We also house many of our cats at our office location. We have four cage free rooms dedicated to housing our resident cats. You can stop by our office during business hours to visit our residents or contact us in advance to schedule a visit with one of our fosters.
