My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Slater – Your Playful, Loving Companion
Slater is a 5-year-old sweetheart with impeccable manners both inside the house and on a leash. He’s the perfect mix of playful energy and calm companionship, making him an ideal addition to the right home.
When it’s time to play, Slater is all in, especially for a good game of fetch or football! He loves long walks around the neighborhood or in the park, enjoying every adventure by your side. But when it’s time to relax, Slater transforms into the ultimate cuddle buddy, happy to snuggle on the couch while you watch TV.
Things about Slater:
• Good with submissive calm females
• Crate trained
• Housebroken
• A perfect balance of playful energy and calm, indoor companionship
• No male dogs, cats or small children
If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving boy who can be your adventure buddy and your cozy couch partner, Slater might just be the one for you!

Go meet their pets

We are a nationwide based rescue and all our available dogs are in foster homes. Our headquarters is based out of Tampa, FL.

More about this rescue

We are a breed specific dog rescue and direct our efforts on saving Dogo Arentinos across the United States. Our volunteers are dedicated to this breed and concerned about how many are ending up in rescue. We want to educate new owners of this breed and help lessen the amount we are seeing in the rescue network!
