About us. We are a family of 8, and Leo was our first cat. I have 6 children ages 1-13. Leo does fine as long as kids know how to play properly with him. He is a kitten, and my kids still don’t understand that if you play using your hands, he will bite your hands. Unfortunately 2 of my 4 children (1 and 4 year olds) are not able to play properly. We have only had him for about 3 months and this is so sad, but we can’t keep him with young children who don’t understand kittens.
About Leo,
I picked him up at the animal shelter and knew he was the one because he was the only kitten purring at me. He is about 6-7 months old now. He loves to cuddle and sleep next to people, but if he is in the playing mode then he likes to be left alone or played with using cat toys. He purrs a lot and meows a lot. He was potty trained the moment we took him home at 4 months old. He had been to the vet (Firehouse) once for shots (deworming and leukemia), so he is due for another round.
