Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This charming boy is named Luca. He’s a 2yr-old 64lb American terrier pit that came to Mesquite Animal Shelter on 8/5 as a stray. He has engaging eyes. It looks like he’s wearing eyeliner. Besides being attractive, he is a well-mannered, easy-going, sweet boy with a good disposition. After he did his business in the yard and explored a little bit he stayed close looking up at me with those alluring eyes. I was absolutely in love. When I sat down to pet him he kept nudging me for more. As sweet as he was, I was happy to oblige. He’s friendly, gentle, well behaved, and very lovable. He did sit one time on command but didn’t take my treat. He walked fine on a leash. When I walked him by some kennels, he barked at some of the dogs and the hair went up on his back. If you have another dog, please ask the shelter for a dog test. In order to get the affection and loving he needs he will need to be an inside dog. Then you can be rewarded with the love he stored up for you! He is not suited for an apartment.
