My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chiquis came to PAWS in July of 2025, and has been with us ever since. Despite being a very sweet, lively pup, Chiquis hasn't had a chance to stay in foster, and we are very eager to hear about how he does in a home! What we have gathered from our time with Chiquis is that he is very treat-motivated. His excitement is almost too much for his body to handle, and he wiggles and wags his tail with enthusiasm!

Chiquis loves toys— in fact, his dream home would subscribe him for a monthly Bark Box! He loves other dogs, but his high-energy and in-your-face play style can be overwhelming for older or lazier dogs. A well-matched playmate that can teach him play manners would be best for him! Chiquis loves people. He's always eager to give kisses, and one of his quirks is wrapping his paws around your waist to give you a hug!
