This cutie and her sisters came to the Adoption Center shy and unaccustomed to human attention; they would play all day with each other, but people were scary. Well, those days are long gone! After a couple months of daily attention and love (even if they didn't want it at first), Elise has become a whole new girl. She fills the room with purrs whenever she gets a visitor, and loves to get a little love!
Elise still very much enjoys the company of other cats, but happily, she now enjoys the company of her humans, too. And that means it's high time she found her forever humans!

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.
With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.
Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
