Bingo is a gorgeous boxer/shepherd mix whose estimated DOB is 6/1/2024 and on 7/30/2025 she weighed 51 pounds. Her previous owners got her as a puppy, and she lived with them for a year. They could no longer care for her, and it is not her fault that she finds herself in the shelter. The sudden life changed caused some initial confusion and fear, understandably so. Bingo is warming up quickly to our staff, and once she feels comfortable with you, she's a real sweetheart! Her previous owners tell us that she is good with children and other dogs (we always recommend bringing your dog for a dog meet before adopting a new family member) and she hasn't been exposed to cats. They also tell us (and we can verify from our experience with her) that Bingo loves cuddles, and head and back scratches. Bingo is smart too, she knows sit, down and stay. She would do well in a home with a fenced yard to where she can play and do zoomies! Come meet Bingo today and give her the loving home that she so deserves!
Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

More about this shelter
The mission of the Humane Society of Pulaski County is to rescue, care for and find homes for abandoned, abused, homeless and unwanted animals; to reduce suffering of animals; and to reduce the number of homeless animals through adoption, spay/neuter, and through education.
The Humane Society of Pulaski County provides access to low-cost, healthy, inoculated, sterilized animals to people seeking to adopt animals as pets only. Adopters are screened to see if they can provide the basics of care for the animals, proper housing, and continued veterinary maintenance; and have no history of animal abuse or irresponsible ownership.
The Humane Society is a private no-kill shelter, supported solely by donations, fund-raisers, bequests and grants. We receive no city, county or state funding, nor are we affiliated with any other organization. We have been rescuing animals since 1946, and have been in our present building since 2000.
