Maui is looking for a wonderful forever home… could that be with you?
Maui was rescued with his 4 sisters when was 3 weeks old after he and his sisters were abandoned by their mother. Raised, of course, as a bottle baby, Maui has been a lover since the day we got him. Maui is a super sweet, absolutely always wanting more attention and to be close to you as possible. He also absolutely loves to snuggle when he’s tired. Maui is definitely the sort of cat to come running to the door to greet you (or your guests). Maui is fairly hyper and positively loves to play. He will definitely grow out of a lot of his kitten energy, but we expect him to be a fairly active and playful adult. Along with people of all ages, Maui positively adores other animals, and would do well with young, friendly, and playful animal (cat or dog) in the home, but that’s not a necessity if he’s in a home where he gets a lot of time and attention from his people.
Maui’s one and only flaw is that he can be a bit rough and mouthy when he plays. He was the biggest of a litter of orphans, so he's never had a mama (or bigger sibling) to help teach him to play gentle. We've been working on that with him and he is definitely learning... he'll just need a bit of patience from you to fully break the habit!
