My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rachel, a spirited 6-month-old female mutt with a heart full of adventure and a knack for making friends wherever she goes. This pint-sized bundle of joy is already crate trained and house trained, proving she’s as smart as she is sweet.
Rachel is a true “dog’s dog”—independent, playful, and always ready to join the pack. She thrives in the company of other dogs, romping and wrestling with her foster siblings like she’s known them forever. She’s equally gentle and confident around kids and even gets along famously with cats, making her the perfect fit for a multi-pet household.
Outdoors is where Rachel shines brightest. She adores zooming around the yard, chasing toys, and exploring every nook and cranny with boundless puppy energy. Whether it’s a game of fetch or a lazy sun-soaked nap after playtime, Rachel brings joy and laughter to every moment.
If you’re looking for a loyal, adaptable companion who’s ready to grow with your family, Rachel is your girl. Come meet this little superstar—she’s waiting to bound into your life!

Her adoption fee will be $240 which includes a $75 deposit that will be returned to you once she is old enough to be spayed. The fee covers, microchip, wormer, bordatella , 3 sets of shots, rabies, and spay.

Additional adoption info

The adoption process:

Step 1: Complete the Adoption Application. You can request an adoption application via email. Once complete the form can be emailed back for review. You can always pick a adoption application at any of our events.

Step 2: We will review completed applications, do reference and fence checks, as well as a home visit, if needed. Please remember that adopting a pup is making a commitment of 10-15 years, so we do not take any shortcuts in processing applications. It is our responsibility to place these pups in the very best homes we can possibly find for them.

Step 3: When your Adoption Application is approved, we will schedule a time for you to meet the pup that just might be the newest member of your family.

***Please remember that we are an all-volunteer, foster based rescue organization. We do not have a public shelter facility, so all meetings for potential adopters and fosters are done by appointment only. ***

Step 4: After the meeting, if everything seems to be a perfect match, the final step is the signing of the Adoption Contract, payment of the $165 adoption fee and $75 deposit, which makes it $240 (if the animal is not spayed or neutered yet), and taking your new family member home. You will get your deposit back when their 6 months old and altered.

Go meet their pets

We are an all-volunteer, foster based rescue organization. We do not have a public shelter facility, so most of our meet-and-greet are by appointments. You can also check out our calendar of events on our Facebook page, facebook.com/txpitcrew940, for other opportunities to meet our pups. Of course, we will always try to be as flexible as possible when scheduling meet-and-greets.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit volunteer ran organization dedicated to eradicating animal cruelty to all breeds in Wichita and surrounding counties. While we will help any animal in need that we can, we seek to promote the bully breed as the loving and loyal animals they are. All our animals are in private foster homes of caring volunteers. Our animals come to us under many different circumstances. They may be from an accidental or unwanted litter, the one abandoned at a shelter, the one that "got too big", the one sitting on the side of the road waiting for the owner, the one that escaped their chain, the irresponsible result of a breeder, the one left behind when the owners moved, or the one beat and left for dead. The list could go on. We hold adoption events throughout the year and during the colder months we hit the streets looking for neglected and/or dogs in need. We hand out cold weather supplies and educate owners about community resources that are available and proper dog ownership.
