Dutchess is a very wise cat and is good at communicating her needs with a meow, followed by leading you to the place she wants to draw your attention to, be it her food/water dish or litter box.
Dutchess needs to develop trust before she welcomes you into her world and it could take awhile for her to feel at home in her new surroundings. Once she's comfortable, she will welcome petting and belly rubs. However, she is not a lap kitty or a fan of being picked up.
For entertainment, Dutchess loves to watch Cat TV, especially the ones with mice. She also enjoys watching the world go by from a window perch, where she will cat nap if there's nothing going on to keep her attention.

Meet the Pet
Your chosen animal’s foster home will reach out to you to discuss the pet you are interested in. If applicable, schedule a meet and greet!
Sign Adoption Contract
An Applications team member will send the electronic adoption contract to you to be signed. They will also request adoption fee payment.
Take the Pet Home
Once adoption agreement and payment are complete, you take your new pet home!
