Vincent was found by a resident when this tiny boy wondered into a yard looking for shelter. Instead, he was attacked by a dog who picked him up and shook him.
Thanks to Pound Pals Downriver funding a full examination for physical trauma. Our friends at Southgate Animal Hospital kept him overnight for observation, but Vincent is now safely getting bigger and stronger under volunteer care.
His eye is noticeably smaller than the other, likely due to trauma or birth defects.
Sadly, we discovered that Vincent is positive for FeLV. While his lifespan will be considerably shortened, he is currently enjoying life as a playful and super affectionate cat.
Vincent deserves to be loved and pampered during the time he has on this earth.

Canine $150
The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, first distemper vaccine, and rabies vaccine and heartworm test if old enough.
Cash only is accepted.

The Wyandotte Animal Adoption Center acts as the adoption facility for Downriver Central Animal Control. The intake facility (located in Southgate, MI) handles all intakes (strays, abandoned animals, court cases...). The adoption facility (located in Wyandotte, MI) brings the animals over (if adoptable) and have completed their requisite holds at the intake facility. This can sometimes take a few weeks if the adoption center is at capacity. The facilities handle approximately 500-700 animals per year.
