My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Bourbon, and I was recently taken into the rescue when I was caught by a kind person who saw me running in a local town and knew I needed help. They scooped me right up and took me home but knew they could not keep me with multiple other animals in the home that seems a bit too interested in me.

I may my way to the rescue and have been a delight to have ever since. I was seen by the vet and received a clean bill of health and was also spayed. I have wonderful litterbox habits that have improved since I have been spayed. I am a gorgeous lionhead breed rabbit and have beautiful white, grey and black fur. I may be a great bonding date for any neutered males searching for a wife.

We believe I am a bit under a year of age, and I weigh 4 lbs. and I am full grown.

I am eating a proper diet of timothy hay, Oxbow adult rabbit pellets and a big bowl of fresh water that is cleaned and changed daily. I love running and playing since I have lots of energy being a young bun. So far I like romaine, small pieces of apple, banana, carrot tops and even a few blueberries.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet girl like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
