This good boy knows sit, shake, lie down and roll over!! Krypto is also housebroke. His hobbies include long walks and a good game of fetch. He`ll even bring the ball back to you! His ideal home will have no cats and older kids or an owner that can keep him active. He seems to do well with female dogs but male dogs are a hard no for him. Come meet Krypto and see if he`s the perfect dog for you!!

The GCHS is comprised of an estimated 500 members, dedicated shelter staff, volunteers, board of directors, and a growing network of foster homes. Due to the commitment of these people, the GCHS has gone from a 62% kill rate in 1999 to a NO-KILL status. Our mission includes:
. Promoting compassionate and appropriate treatment of animals throughout Green and Lafayette Counties.
. Realizing the need to educate the general public in areas of animals' care, especially the need for spaying and neutering of animals to prevent further overpopulation.
. Diligently assisting law enforcement and the general public in the effort to end animal abuse.
. Devoted to the search for quality homes for every adoptable animal that comes into the shelter.
