My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**ALL ADOPTIONS FEES WAIVED**
***MUST BE ADOPTED WITH DONUT***

I'm Snow, because I have a little white dot on my nose and I look like I smushed my face in some snow! I'm a lionhead rabbit, which means I have some fluffy fur around my neck and my tail.

I am a little bit of a troublemaker...I like to run around, jump on the furniture, and play with my siblings. I don't really like to be handled, but I am only a baby, so the humans say I'm in my "crazy phase." I live with two of my siblings but I have a special bond with my brother, Donut. We are exact opposites, but I can't imagine my life without him.

My dream home would be free roaming (my litterbox habits are very good!), have people to play with me, and a bunny castle to conquer. What do you think about giving me a chance to make your home livelier?

Snow is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated against RHDV2.

Snow and Donut are bonded and must be adopted together. If you are interested in meeting Snow and Donut, please email napabunnies@gmail.com or complete our adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BUN/Rabbit

More about this rescue

Napa Bunnies was founded in November 2019 when several individuals came together to clear a rabbit dump site in the city of Napa and get the rescued rabbits spayed/neutered and adopted into safe indoor homes.
Towards the end of our mission, it became clear that there was a need to continue to help rabbits in the Napa area and beyond through education and advocacy. Napa Bunnies continues to rescue and rehome rabbits, but instead of being just another brick-and-mortar rescue, the focus is on health and the education on the proper and responsible care of rabbit companions.
The organization has partnered with a veterinarian to offer wellness and vaccination clinics. A thorough annual exam can identify health issues early on, which can then be addressed. The idea is that a healthy rabbit is less likely to be abandoned by their guardian; and that accessibility to a rabbit savvy veterinarian or cost should never be an impediment.
