Welcome Chili's! He is an adorable and shy young gentleman who came to Murci's Mission from a local cat colony. He has an estimated birthdate of 06/26/2025.

Chili's will be shy at first and need a week or two to get used to a new place, but he is very motivated by snacks (same here brother) and loves to play with wands, lasers, jingle balls, and enjoys naps and bird watching. He is social with dogs and cats, and would be fine with kids who can be gentle and give him space as he acclimates.

Chili's comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50 and includes a sample of the food he's been eating and his medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Adopters in the Spokane area can expect to meet the pet during the homecheck. Others will arrange a meet and greet.

Once your application has been received, we will evaluate it as a potential match for the given animal and, if your application is selected, we will proceed to call your references and then conclude with a home check and meet and greet scheduled by you at your home. For applicants out of area, the home check may be conducted via video call before the meet and greet.

More about this rescue

From the day we could talk we told our pets more than we ever told our parents. We took the long route to see the kitty in the window down the street. We stopped even when we were late to pet the dog. We grew up and we saw what the world does to those who can't defend themselves. We are here to change that.

Ethical rescue, including fully vetting every animal and carefully placing them all into homes matched to their physical and mental needs is what we do.

Respecting all life, both animal and human, while retaining an underlying goal of keeping animals in their homes. and fostering a sense of community between local shelters and rescues is how we do it.
