I took Sam in because he was my grandmother’s dog, and I lived with her towards the end of her life and took him with me when she passed. He is very friendly, cuddling, and energetic. He is fantastic with cats and loves people, and would do best in a home where there’s someone home a majority of the time, since he can experience separation anxiety. He loves cuddling up in your lap whenever possible, chewing on bones, and hanging out outside in the sun. His biggest concerns are that he struggles with getting along with other dogs in a home without proper exposure and training, and can become aggressive if approached when he has a bone/treat. He would be best in a home with adults and older children/teens, but not young children. He may have an old injury from before we got him in his lower back/hind leg, because it can be sensitive at times, but he got a vet evaluation and was cleared medically for it. Overall, he is very loving and loved, and I hope he can find people who love him too.
