Panda made the long journey from Saudi Arabia to NYC in the hopes of finding his forever home. He’s a young boy with a lot of energy! He loves to play with toys and his feline frineds. Panda loves other cats, always grooming them and doing some intense wrestling. He loves pets but can get overstimulated so would best be adopted by people or a family that understands cat behavior and signals.
From his years of living on the street without the best nutrition, Panda has a bit of a sensitive stomach. He does well with a sensitive stomach diet and probiotics/fiber, but will need monitoring to make sure he’s not having tummy problems, we are happy to talk to potential adopters about this!
Panda is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes.
Panda was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered. He would love to be adopted with his friend Rubberband Man, but they do not have to be adopted together.
