My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

? Mulan – Sweet, Strong, and Ready for a Fresh Start ?

Meet Mulan, a brave little survivor with a heart full of love. This sweet girl was rescued by the police department after being found in a dangerously hot car in the middle of July. Despite her rough start, Mulan has shown nothing but resilience and affection. ?

Now safe in our care, Mulan is embracing her second chance at life with all the tail wags and puppy kisses she can give! She’s your typical happy-go-lucky pup — full of snuggles, curiosity, and a serious love for attention. Whether she’s curled up in your lap or bouncing around with excitement, Mulan is happiest when she’s near her people.

She’s looking for a forever family who will treat her with the kindness and love she’s always deserved. If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate companion with a strong spirit and a soft heart, Mulan is waiting for you. ?

Her adoption fee is $200 The adoption fee includes her care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.

In addition to their adoption fee, there is a $150 Puppy Package fee that includes heartworm prevention and all vaccine boosters due up to 5 months of age when the boosters are done at Jewell Animal Hospital. This is optional but recommended as it provides significant savings on these services.

More about this shelter

Judy’s Forgotten Jewells is a licensed Non-Profit No Kill Animal Rescue Group. It was founded by Patricia L. Smith DVM in honor of her mother’s childhood dog “Judy Dog” and Jewell Animal Hospital. Dr. Smith believes that ALL animals deserve quality pet care and a loving home. Our rescue is supported by volunteers, the hospital staff, and pet passionate people in our community who donate money and supplies. Our goal is to help the pets who are at risk of being euthanized, pregnant and or homeless.
