This incredibly sweet boy has been through a lot. He was deeply bonded with his brother Merv, who sadly had to be euthanized due to major medical complications. Since losing his companion, it’s become even clearer that he absolutely cannot be an only cat. He must have another friendly feline to bond with — or he could be adopted as a pair with Baffi.
He is never alone. Truly — you will always find him snuggled up with another cat. His happiness comes from companionship, warmth, and feline friends.
Despite everything, he remains a super sweet, gentle boy. He’s a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly to strangers and happily comes over for pets and affection. He doesn’t like being held, but he loves attention on his own terms and forms strong, loving bonds once he feels safe.
Because he’s sensitive and needs a calm environment, he is not a good fit for homes with small children.
If you have a friendly resident cat — or are open to adopting him with Baffi — and want to give a tender, affectionate boy a place to heal and feel loved again, he could be the perfect addition to your family. He truly just wants companionship, safety, and a soft place to snuggle.
Adoption fee of $100 includes spay/neuter, FIV and FELV combo test, up-to-date rabies and distemper vaccinations, deworming treatments, flea treatments, and microchip.

Shadow Cats TNR (SCTNR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to assisting animals in need. Our mission is to establish and manage programs for the welfare of community cats, companion animals, and pet owners needing assistance, in collaboration with other community partners, rescue groups and shelters.
We specialize in controlling the community cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). As a result of the TNR process, we often acquire, along with feral cats, friendly and semi-friendly cats and kittens. We work to place these cats into appropriate homes through our adoption and barn cat programs. SCTNR seeks to educate the public on the importance of spaying/neutering all pets as well as controlling the cat populations in our county.
