Happy is a sweet and playful 8-month-old pup looking for her forever home. True to her name, she’s a joyful little dog who loves to run, play, and snuggle. She’s very smart and food- motivated, already knowing “sit,” “look,” and “off,” and she’s eager to keep learning with a patient family.
Happy has lots of puppy energy and thrives on playtime—she enjoys fetch with a tennis ball, tug-of-war with a rope, and running/zoomies around with other dogs. She’s also growing in confidence on walks. While she may bark sometimes when people or dogs pass by, she’s already picked up the “look” command and is being positively reinforced with treats so she learns to associate people, dogs, and new sounds with good things.
She’s making great progress with house training: she does most of her business outside, but will still occasionally use pee pads for a quick pee. At night, she sleeps soundly from about 8:30 pm to 7 am, with one late-night potty break.
Happy would do best with an active family who can keep up with her energy and continue her training. With her smarts, sweetness, and playful spirit, she’s sure to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion.

Interview
We will contact you via email to let you know if the dog is still available and to book a telephone call interview.

Meet the Pet
We'll invite you to meet the dog at a fair, or in some cases at the foster's home. Dogs over 6mos will go to a 1 week adoption trial.

Home Check
When the pup is in your home we'll follow up to see how it's going and volunteer will visit you for a home check
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
If all goes well you'll come to our next adoption fair to FINALIZE! Pay the fee, sign the contract, get your photo!

Our adoption fees are $325 for dogs over 1 year, $350 for puppies 6months - 1 year, and $425 for puppies under 6 months. All dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We also give new owners an ID tag.
