Meet Tigger!
About: Tigger is a very energetic cat who spends most of her time racing around her cat room and playing with toys that she finds scattered around! She`s into cat trees, cat wands, treats and anything else that peaks her interest, really. She also loves human attention, and while she isn`t extremely happy about being picked up (it restricts her freedom, thank you very much) she does tolerate it in exchange for the attention that comes afterwards! Head scratches, full length pets down her back and ear scritches are all on the menu for her. While she isn`t hard to please in terms of toys and human company, Tigger is very selective with her cat friends. She gets along well with a couple of cats in her room, mainly Gregory and Tobin who are very respectful of her boundaries, but she`s not afraid to tell anyone off who looks at her funny! This spunky personality has made her a volunteer favourite in the shelter. She`s never boring to watch!
Ideal Home: Tigger is one of the shelter residents who would do well in most homes, though she would need a careful introduction with any other cats. Her busy bee energy makes her a candidate for louder homes in addition to quiet ones looking to spice up their lives!

We also take part in several PetSmart Adopt-a-Thons at the Peterborough location.
Our pets come: spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, up to date on basic vaccinations and vet checked.
