Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clyde Livingston 💛
Clyde Livingston has been waiting patiently.
He came to us as part of a group of 30 cats — overwhelmed, unsure, just trying to make sense of a brand new world. In a crowd that big, it’s easy to get overlooked. And somehow, sweet Clyde has been overlooked more than most.
But here’s what people don’t always see at first glance: the growth.
Since arriving, Clyde has blossomed in the most beautiful way. The once-shy boy who kept to himself now leans into pets. He seeks out attention. He plays. He’s discovered that being loved feels pretty great — and now he’s all in.
He absolutely loves to be pet and will happily soak up affection like he’s making up for lost time. And when the toys come out? He lights up. Watching him play is like watching a cat who finally feels safe enough to just be a cat.
Clyde doesn’t need to be flashy. He doesn’t demand attention. But he deserves it more than anyone. He’s done the hard work of learning to trust — now he just needs someone to choose him.
If you believe in second chances, quiet resilience, and the kind of love that grows stronger over time, Clyde Livingston is ready to finally go home. 💛An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $200.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice. Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
