My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mary Allen is a beautiful one-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on May 26, 2025 after she was found on Wynncrest Drive in Marietta Ohio. Mary Allen was reunited with her two tiny kittens (Allie and Noah) who were found on May 23rd and were also brought to our shelter.

This young lady has a shiny black short smooth coat with a few white hairs on her chest, a long tail, and a pretty face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Mary Allen was given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer on May 31, 2025. She was very petite and weighed just 4 lbs that day.

This little mother was wonderful with her two kittens and took great care of them. Mary Allen was a frightened kitty when she arrived and was unaccustomed to being in a small shelter cage, and she is still working on her social skills with her people friends.

Mary Allen was spayed on August 4, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 7.5 lbs that day.

She and her kittens (Allie & Noah) were separated after Mary Allen was spayed. The youngsters are currently sharing a double-wide cage in our Jungle Room where they are having fun-fun-fun in their own 'apartment'.

Mary Allen is ready to find an appropriate home with a compassionate individual or family who will give her time to acclimate to a new environment.
