My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bluebird has been in a foster home since September and has truly captured her foster`s heart. She is a flight-risk dog, which means she will try to get away if given the chance. Because of this, Bluebird will need to stay on a leash both indoors and outdoors for the first few weeks—or even months—until she feels fully safe and comfortable.

Bluebird was originally found hiding underneath a house, terrified. She is still very nervous around new people, but with time, patience, and consistency, she continues to gain confidence. Once she warms up, she is such a joy. She loves puppy zoomies, playing with toys, and relaxing once she feels secure.

She does great with both dogs and cats and would do well in a home with other animals. Bluebird is crate trained and potty trained, though she may have a few accidents as she adjusts to a new environment.

Bluebird is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved.
