My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Lavendar, and I was surrendered to a local shelter along with my sister Periwinkle when our previous family could no longer care for us. We were originally housed together however since we were not spayed at that time as our hormones kicked in we started fighting.

Since arriving at the rescue, we have been seen by a vet and have a clean bill of health and have been spayed. I have wonderful litterbox habits and a curious and gentle nature. I am no older than a year of age and weigh 5 lbs. I am full grown.

I am a gorgeous grey colored lionhead breed of rabbit and I love to run and play. I have received a 10 from my foster mom on the height of my binkies. For those who may not know binkies are when a bun is happy and running and playing and they jump in the air with some rabbits receiving quite some airtime.

I am now eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that is changed and cleaned daily. I love my daily salad of things like romaine, carrots tops and please do not forget my sweet treats which include banana, apple and even a few blueberries.

I may be a great bonding candidate for any neutered males searching for a wife.

Would you consider giving a beautiful girl like me a second chance and a home of her own?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
