Momma Doppel came to Friends of Petraits Rescue the first week of May … very very pregnant. Within days, she gave birth to four very healthy kittens on May 8th.
Momma Doppel has had a very special bond with her baby Mimi since she was born. She’s the most like her in temperament; she’s sweet, gentle and a little shy. But, they are both very playful and loving with people.
Momma Doppel is an 18-month-old glossy black cat with green eyes; Mimi is a tiny three-month-old torbie (Tortoiseshell Tabby-mix).
The other kittens in the litter have been adopted into loving families, now it’s Doppel and Mimi’s turn. Mimi’s favorite toy is a cat dancer; she can play and jump for hours.
They are healthy, spayed, dewormed, up-to-date on all vaccinations until August of 2026, virus-tested negative for FIV/Felv, and microchipped.
They are ready for their new family and a lifetime of love. They are well-behaved in the home, use their litter box and are eating well.
