Lyca was abandoned by her owner and found herself at the shelter. Since being at in her foster home, Lyca has been very outgoing, friendly, and confident. No hiding at all. After just a few days, she loves to play, particularly with wand toys. She also loves flat cardboard scratchers and climbing onto a lap to share a happy purr and to rub her face all over you. Some gentle love bites have occurred, but they are clearly warnings of overstimulation or extreme declarations of adoration (she likes to put her little mouth on my head/hair, even when I’m not petting her). We're recommending older kids because this behavior may be a little 'scary' for young ones.
Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
