Sweet, lovely Hendrix. Initially shy when she arrived at the shelter, she blossomed at her foster home. The shelter can be a hard transition for anybody, but it’s extra hard when you are reflective, sensitive, and so very aware that this is not “home.” In her foster home, she was known as the binky queen! It took her about two weeks to open up, her foster reports, but once she did she was unstoppable.
It took time, some extra space, and the occasional Timothy biscuit, but Hendrix is learning to be comfortable in her new environment. And THAT is when the magic happens. She may still struggle with a little shyness, but she is so ready to open up for the right person. And she is absolutely worth it.
