My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buddy is the definition of friendly. If you have legs, he will rub against them. If you have hands, he
expects them to be used for petting. He enjoys being picked up but not for long. If you offer food or
treats, you are now his favorite person.

Buddy leans into pets like it’s his full-time job and radiates “best friend energy” particularly where
food is involved. He enjoys toys and cat trees. He will likely take some time to get used to you in a
new home, but offer food and pets and he should adjust quickly.

Buddy would thrive in a home looking for a cat who seeks out human interaction and isn’t shy about
asking for love. He greets his foster mom enthusiastically.

Additional adoption info

We are not a shelter and work entirely with our foster parents. Once a potential adopter is authorized (after application and home visit), that person is invited to meet the cat/kitten. If all goes well, fee is paid and cat goes with new person.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Once application and home visit is approved, potential adoptees are invited to visit the cat/kitten at our foster homes.

More about this rescue

Cat Action Team is a non-profit, volunteer-driven group dedicated to providing TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) services for cat colonies and caretakers in central Virginia. Some medical support and food provided. We adopt out kittens found in colonies who are fostered, socialized, and fully vetted.
