My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Humphrey (black) and Sizzle (gray) are gorgeous 1.5-year old brothers with big round eyes and sleek, shiny coats. Humphrey is the bolder of the two, first to approach a stranger or venture to explore a new space. He also likes blanket forts! I’ll put a blanket over my shoulders and he loves to wiggle his way under the folds and curl up under the "fort".

Their favorite activities include making biscuits on soft blankets, watching out the window, wrestling with each other, and looking for things to play with. They do really seem to enjoy being together and playing with each other, and ideally they would like to be adopted together. They are well-mannered, mellow boys who get along well with other cats and would make an excellent addition to any family.

Additional adoption info

We are not a shelter and work entirely with our foster parents. Once a potential adopter is authorized (after application and home visit), that person is invited to meet the cat/kitten. If all goes well, fee is paid and cat goes with new person.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Once application and home visit is approved, potential adoptees are invited to visit the cat/kitten at our foster homes.

More about this rescue

Cat Action Team is a non-profit, volunteer-driven group dedicated to providing TNVR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) services for cat colonies and caretakers in central Virginia. Some medical support and food provided. We adopt out kittens found in colonies who are fostered, socialized, and fully vetted.
