Llewellin Setters are usually very timid and affectionate dogs that form powerful bonds with their owners. They typically don’t require a lot to be satisfied, but like every dog, they require a lot of attention, and what better way to give them attention than through playtime.
Good with other dogs and kids over 10 years. Has not been cat tested. Must have a fenced yard, and or experience with this breed. Kokoni is neutered & up to date vaccines, microchipped, wormed/flea and tick treatment. Located in southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved foster or adopter. Fees range between $150-$650. An adoption application, followed by a check of references, such as Veterinarian, and a home check and or pictures. After which the board will go over all the information and decide what is the best for the animal.

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
