My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chato – a big-hearted boy with an even bigger spirit.
After everything he’s been through, Chato remains an incredibly sweet, brave, and resilient pup. He’s learning to enjoy the good things in life—like toys, cozy beds, and playing with dogs of all sizes.

Chato is smart and eager to please, picking up on new things quickly. Though he’s not much of a barker, he’s recently discovered how to use his voice during playtime, and it’s brought out a whole new playful side of him!

He may take a little time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’ll shower you with bear hugs and wet kisses. Chato is still learning that a home can be a safe place, so he’ll need a patient and understanding companion to guide him.

He would truly thrive in a home with a yard and some dog friends to keep him company. Chato has nothing but love to give—and he’s ready to share it with his forever family.
