Jake is a friendly 4-year-old (not sure of age) beagle who gets along well with other dogs. However, he has also been STARVED. If you don't know the meaning and impact of that word -- Google is your friend. Jake came to the rescue, looking like a skeleton. To say he is extremely keyed in on food would be an understatement. He is always looking for food and won't hesitate nipping at your hands if they smell of food.
So NO, I mean, ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN -- EVER. Jake is fed and given treats in his crate. I highly recommend having a crate for him or his own room for feeding and treating if you have other animals. A certified animal behaviorist may help Jake but I doubt he will ever lose that need to seek out food. Jake also is not leash trained, so a basic obedience class would do wonders for him and you.

If you are looking for a dog with no issues, might I suggest a stuffed animal. If you are into challenges, Jake and I double dog dare you to turn him into that cuddle of fluff he has the potential of becoming in the correct hands -- otherwise, let's not waste anyone's time.
