A Gentle Heart with a Wobbly Walk and Endless Love to Give
Scooby is an approximately three year-old sweetheart whose big, soulful eyes tell the story of resilience and hope.
Abandoned by his former family and left in an overcrowded shelter, Scooby never lost his gentle spirit. Today, he’s thriving in foster care—safe, loved, and ready for his forever home.
Scooby has a congenital neurological condition that gives him a little “wobble” when he walks, making him uniquely charming. Thanks to custom tarsal supports, he moves comfortably, enjoys short strolls, and loves soaking up sunshine in the yard.
He’s house-trained, well-mannered, and a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you, his loyalty and affection shine. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Other dogs? He’s polite and non-reactive, but really loves his people. He would do well with a calm and welcoming pup and may even be OK with cats.
All of Scooby’s medical care has been covered and he's ready for a family of his own whose only job is to love him and keep him safe. In return, he’ll fill your days with quiet joy, gentle companionship, and the unwavering devotion only a rescued dog can give.
Scooby would do best in a home where it's easy for him to go in and out with his perfect but wobbly legs!
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to adopt, this is it. Scooby is ready to be someone’s everything. Will it be you?
