Aria is a bundle of curiosity, but she does start out a little shy. She LOVES to play but can also sit back and observe. She can be picked up and snuggled (unless it`s play time!) and enjoys crawling up along side foster mom in bed at sleepy time. As much as Aria likes to explore she is scared by loud noises and will need a little time to settle in to new surroundings. Just exercise a little patience while she acclimates and this girl will be a very loving and loyal family companion.

First adopters fill out an adoption application. After our volunteers do a vet check to make sure that your current animals are up-to-date on their vaccinations and such, we will do a short and informal home visit. The final step in the process is signing the adoption contract.
Adoption fees are as follows:
-Kittens (under 1 year) are $150
-Cats (over 1 year) are $125
-Puppies (under 1 year) are $250
-Dogs (over 1 year) are $200

The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
