My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winifred is a gentle, sweet soul who’s looking for a calm, loving forever home. She was adopted as a kitten with her mom, both came back to us 1 year later due to the family going through difficult times. Her mother was soon adopted again which has allowed Wini to come out of her shell and have affectionate side shines through. She gets along well with other cats, the kittens have helped bring out her confidence.

If you have a peaceful home and a soft spot for shy kitties who just need a little extra patience and love, Winifred may be the perfect match for you! If interested please submit application on our website www.friendsoffelinesrescue.com

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
